William “Bill” E. Farner, 83, of Carlisle, passed away December 3, 2025, at Claremont Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born January 12, 1942, he was the son of the late Floyd and Ruth (Mayberry) Farner. Bill was a 1961 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and was employed for many years as a Product Engineer for AMP\Tyco before retiring. He also worked many years at Eagles Crossing Golf Course and drove school van for Miller Bus Company.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Stine; his son, James Farner (Chandra) of Mt. Holly Springs; daughter, Teresa Miller of Carlisle and one sister, Mary Frank. Bill is additionally survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. His brother, Gary Farner and sister, Cathy Farner Sheriff, proceeded him in death.
Bill was a member of the Carlisle Aerie #1299 Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed metal detecting, golfing and hunting.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
