With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Joseph Utsch on September 3, 2024, at the age of 56. Born in Chicago Ridge, IL, on October 16, 1967, John was a beloved husband to Amy (Hill) Utsch and a cherished member of his family.
John will always be remembered for his kind and loving nature, his passion for fishing, and his talent for building model trains. He brought joy to all who knew him with his sense of humor and his knack for fixing things around the house. John was a huge football fan, and loved cheering on his favorite team, The Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
He leaves behind his loving spouse, of 17 years, Amy (Hill) Utsch, his mother JoAnne (Martin) Utsch, sister Linda Johnson and brother-in-law Keith Johnson, brother Ed Utsch and sister-in-law Patty Utsch, brother Michael Utsch and sister-in-law Heidi Utsch, and brother Jim Utsch and sister-in-law Debbie Utsch.
John was preceded in death by his father, Edmond Utsch.
Per John’s wishes, no formal funeral or visitation will take place. May he rest in peace, and may his memory continue to bring comfort and joy to his family and friends during this difficult time.
