John H. Voegele

John Henry Voegele, age 65 of Highland, IL, died Sunday, April 20, 2025, at his home in Highland, IL.
He was born on Sunday, April 17, 1960, in Highland, IL, the son of Orville and Dorothy (nee Buehler) Voegele.
On Sunday, July 2, 1992, he married Cheryl Elaine Voegele (nee Carson) at Virginia Beach, VA, who survives.
He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus #1580, ABATE, and Madison County Farm Bureau.
John was born and raised in Highland. He grew up just south of town on a farm. John was a Highland High School graduate of the class of 1978. He worked at B-Line Corporation for 25 years. John helped on the family farm, eventually operating Voegele Farms with his brother. John loved to ride his motorcycle; a 1992 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL, with Fr. Pat G. Jakel, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Unity Hospice.
