John “Jack” Warndof, 82 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born September 8, 1943 in Pennsylvania to Mary Carruthers and Charles Warndof, Sr. He shortly thereafter moved to and was raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi then later Russellville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Vhes Warndof, sister Beth Krueger, brothers Joseph Warndof And Charles Warndof, Jr.
Jack was a defense attorney by trade and spent several years overseas working for the Peace Corps then as an attorney general in the Federated States of Micronesia. While overseas he met the love of his life, Vhes, who gave birth to his son Jeffrey. They soon started a new life in Russellville, Arkansas where they spent the remainder of their days. Jack was a lover of the classic arts, enjoyed jogging at Bona Dea trail, playing tennis, watching the Razorbacks, and eating his wife’s delicious cooking.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Richard Warndof, niece Beth “Dinkie” Jones, nephew George “Bub” Salassi, nieces, Donna Warndof, Jeni Salassi; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Eulalia Sequitin and Bienvenida Robles, and Elmer Robles of the Philippines.
His memorial service will be announced at a later date.
