John Wertz Obituary
John Kyle Wertz age 65 of Boones Mill went home to the upper room to be with his missed family and friends on Thursday, April 11, 2024. He was born on March 16, 1959 a son of the late Willie Ferris and Doris A. Housman Wertz. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Wayne Wertz; sister, Sandra Jo Wertz; a son, Paul William Wertz.
He is survived by his son & daughter in-law, John F. & Amber M. Wertz; brother, Roger Dale Wertz; grandchildren, Marley Ann Wertz, Mya Rain Wertz, Mahkaya Moon Wertz; multiple nephews and nieces, Christy A. Wertz, Reneé Wertz Kincer & husband Stacey Kincer, David L. & Cristina Mullins, April D. Williamson, Amanda Jo Wertz, Brooklyn M. & Christian Clements, Taylor B. & Steven Helms, Sydney R. Clements, Atlanta L Kincer, Justice A. Wooldridge, Alaina J.Kelly, Lucas Kyle Wertz, River Woody and son, Colton Woody, Lain Ferron, and Madison Cody.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilson Cemetery, Check, VA. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 AM until service time.
