I miss you so much grandpa, words can´t even describe it. I miss the way you´d watch tv. I miss the way you´d cough while smoking. I miss you calling, I miss talking for hours. A part of me really did leave when you left and I keep trying to get that part back but pa, it ain´t coming back. I wish I could say there are times I think about you, but it´s all the time. Especially when i´m driving, and lately, i´m on the road a lot. I know you wouldn´t want me to cry, I hate that I do but I can´t help it. And it´s not a sadness filled will rage anymore, it´s just plain old sadness hidden behind reality. Anyway I love you pa.

I miss you. They say it gets easier with time but everyday i miss you more. Time moves so slow, November 2023 still feels like last year. I haven´t heard you say my name in so long, its like when you got the beat but still can´t find lyrics to a song. Often times I wake up, sit & stare, and I say it again to remind myself it´s real so I don´t have to just remember in the middle of the day. When you left so did a piece of my home, I left away for college with a light on, and I came back and it wasn´t on anymore. And no matter how hard I prayed and cried It wouldn´t turn on, and no matter how many bulbs I tried to screw back in, nothing compared to how bright the first had shined. It´s so many things I never got to say, but I know someday God will send your soul to be with mine again, i´ll say the things I never got to say maybe in a different way or perspective but they´ll be said. This utter feeling in me, I don´t know what it is, I feel everything, all at once. Pieces of memories, my life doesn´t flash all at once; pieces of the life we once had do. Experiences, emotions, thoughts, conversations, they all cross timelines when dealing with grief. It´s been a long day so i´m going to end this. I just partook in your favorite hobby lol. Comeback when you´re ready. I love you and miss you more.
