John Edward Williams, Sr., 70, passed away on June 30, 2024, at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico, Missouri.
He was born on January 12, 1954, in Duncan, Oklahoma, the son of the late John Merle Williams and the late Lorine (Atchison) Williams.
John was united in marriage to Pamela "Jeanie" (Kolarik) Williams on July 3,1977, she preceded him in death on October 25, 2003.
John was a veteran, serving his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War era. He worked as a mechanic for many years. He loved to go hunting, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Most of all he cherished time spent with his family.
Those who remain to treasure his memory are his sons, Johnny Monroe Williams, (Kathy), John Edward Williams, Jr. (Paula); daughters, Jessica Ray (Richard), Marketa Craig; long-time partner, Cynthia Hutchings; grandchildren, Danielle Sanders, Desiree Williams, Haley Williams, Hunter Ray, Arabella Ray, Rylee Ray, Dennis McGregory, Donte McGregory, Cadence Reid, and Serenity Reid, along with 2 great grandchildren; nephew, Joe Williams, and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Sue "Susie" Nickelson, brothers, James Williams and Bob Williams, and granddaughter, Harper Ray.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Auxvasse Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
