John Williamson Obituary
Waynesville, John Williamson, age 32, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
A native of Haywood County, he was a son of John and Colleen Crawford Williamson. John enjoyed the beauty and solitude of being in nature. Hunting and fishing were some of his favorite activities.
In addition to his parents, John is survived by his beloved precious daughters, Ayla and Aryan Williamson; sisters, Elizabeth Finch (Adam), Tina Riddle (Joey) and Angie Hutchinson; brother, Jeffrey Williamson (Selena); birth mother, Mickey Carver (John); birth father, Tony Cochran; paternal grandmother, Pat Cochran; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mens Challenge of the Smokies, 336 Living Hope Way, Franklin, NC 28734.
