John David Williford

John David Williford, 70, of Chipley, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at his residence following a sudden illness. David was born in Graceville, Florida on June 15, 1955. After he retired as a driver for Sessions, David enjoyed taking care of his elderly neighbors seeing to their needs, making memories with his family, his friends, taking care of his farm animals and his dear fur baby, Dixie. The main testimony he leaves behind is that he loved Jesus. Preceded in death by his father David "Pete" Skinner, mother Sarah Ann Smith Skinner and sister Linda Wells. Survived by his significant other Vicky Williford, daughter Mary Limburger (Jonathan), two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sisters Wanda Carnley, Sandy Ward (Gerald), two brothers Lamar Skinner, Greg Skinner (Pam), several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Damascus Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, 1 p.m. until time of service.
