J. D. WILSON

Bethel Springs, TN: John David Wilson age 55, passed away March 2, 2025, at his home.

He was born September 2, 1969, in Henderson, TN, the son of Arlis Raymond Wilson and the late Brenda Gail Stanley Wilson. He grew up in Bethel Springs and attended Bethel Springs School and McNairy Central High School.

He married Wanda Moore on April 1, 1995. They made their home in Bethel Springs. They had a beautiful daughter together Mollie Nicole who meant the world to him. Mr. Wilson bought, sold and collected classic cars for a living.

He loved all music especially classic rock. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool and watching the history channel, old movies and morning coffee, biscuits and gravy.

He loved his family and spending time with his, daughter and grandson, Issac.

He was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Wanda Moore Wilson, a daughter, Mollie Nicole Wilson Espinoza (Hector); a grandson, Issac Grayson Alexander Espinoza and one on the way; his father, Arlis Raymond Wilson; and a sister, Peggy Gail Wilson Smith (Tony) all of Bethel Springs, TN.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with burial to follow at Refuge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday and 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday service time.
