John Nicholas Yetto, 81, of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born on February 27, 1944, in Gainesville, Florida and served honorably in the United States Army, a testament to his patriotism and dedication.

Although born in Florida, John spent his formative years in Pennsylvania with family. These family and friends knew him as Jack. The vast majority of his adult and family life was spent in south Florida; Florida City, the Florida Keys and Key West, Sarasota and 43 years specifically in Cutler Ridge, known since 2005 as Cutler Bay. Florida is where he married, raised children, pursued various career paths, enjoyed a rich religious and community life as well as a variety of hobbies. John enjoyed the game of golf the most among many activities that also included softball, tennis, fishing and pool.

John was predeceased by his mother, Irene Gertrude Yetto (nee Cox) and his father, Nicholas Yetto. John is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Diana Angelina Yetto (nee DiPietro), his devoted children, Christina Stuver Imig (Gary), Michelle Marie Breder (John) and Michael John Yetto (Sheila), cherished grandchildren, Kirsten Baker (Thomas), Angel Santiago (Natalie), Adrianna Santiago, Brendan Stuver, Jessica Lewis, Zachary Breder, Dylan Lewis, Nicolas Yetto, Roman Yetto, his sister Mary Ann Borzellino, and two great grandchildren, A'Jay and Jayden. John was also blessed with a wide circle of extended family and friends who will forever remember his warmth, humor, kindness and generosity.

There will be a Memorial Service on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 11 AM at Lohman Funeral Home, located at 733 West Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, Florida 32174. Immediately following will be a committal service at 2 PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, located at 5525 US Highway 1, Mims, Florida 32754, where he will be laid to rest with military honors.

John left a legacy of love for all who knew him. He'll be forever in our hearts and minds until we one day join him with Jesus in Paradise.
