John Yoesting Obituary
John Grant Yoesting of Newalla, Oklahoma, passed away on February 28, 2025. He was born on October 2, 1943, to Floyd and Louise (Bailey) Yoesting in Norman, Oklahoma.
John met Barbara Scroggins in 1963, and they were wed on October 16, 1964. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last October. They were blessed with three children, John, Floyd and Sylvia. John worked as an auto-body technician for over 50 years. He enjoyed collecting coins and spending time outdoors, but watching NASCAR racing was his favorite pastime.
John was predeceased by his daughter, Sylvia Dawn Jackson and his granddaughter, Kellee Laine Jackson.
John is survived by his wife, Barbara, of the home; sons, John (Jennifer) of Oolagah, and Floyd (Brandy) of Newalla; son-in-law, John Jackson of Oklahoma City; grandchildren: Lacy, Haley, Gavin, Gracie, Jace, and Ashlee
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
