"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep."
Johnnie "Big John" Maraquettia Price was caring mother, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend. She left this world suddenly on December 22, 2022.
She was born in Monroe, LA to Patricia Price Johnson and Johnny Lee Cooper on March 2, 1984.
She attended Lida Benton Elementary, MLK Elementary, Ouachita Jr. High, and Ouachita High School.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was Baptized at Liberty Hill Baptized Church.
She worked at Cracker Barrel.
Johnnie was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia P. Johnson, her son, Jerome B. Price, her grandmothers, Vever M. Price, Margaret R. Cooper, her cousins, Marvin Lewis, Willie Ross, JaDarrious Ross, Kevin Lewis, her uncles, Charles Cooper, Friendly Cooper, Vincent Cooper, and James Cooper, her aunts, Vickie Lewis, Dorothy R. Crosby, and Shirley A. Cooper.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories; Her father, Johnny L. Cooper; her siblings, Latasha M. Price, Tyesha J. Price, Jessica D. Washington, Johnny Jackson, Naekia Grey, Tramel Grey, Tramon Grey, Johnny Cooper Jr., Jamaica Harrison and Lavarez Cooper; her children, Darneka Moran, Adja Price, Johnvon Parker, and Dianyon Price, her grandparents, Arthur and Dianne Jones; her aunts, Denise Cooper, Dianna Price, and Debra Ervin, her uncles, Terry Price, Kenneth Price, Johnny Price, Arthur Price, Domonique Price, and Rickie Wade, eleven nieces and nephews, a host of cousins.
