Johnny Charles Barnett, 87, of Waldron, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, May 9, 2025. He was born on March 12, 1938, in Mansfield, Arkansas to Elzie and LaOra (Byers) Barnett.
Johnny was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired planer man with West Fraser Lumber Company. Better known as "Johnny B.," he was a #1 Razorback fan for every sport.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and LaOra Barnett, his brother, David Barnett, and his son, Randy Barnett.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Linda of the home, his son, Jon (Sharon) Barnett of Fountain, Colorado, his daughters, Lori (Bobby) Neihouse of Booneville, Arkansas, and Susan (Terry) Beaty of Waldron, Arkansas, daughter-in-law, Sherri Barnett of Waldron, Arkansas; brothers, Elzie Gene Barnett of Waldron, Arkansas and Tommy Barnett of El Paso, Texas; sisters, Leta Stanley of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Uldean Pogue of Evansville, Arkansas, and Margaret Mack of Mansfield, Arkansas; as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial will be held in Johnny's honor at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Martin Funeral & Cremation – Waldron.
