Johnny Clark Buis, 47 of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on August 13, 2025. He was born in Indianapolis on March 2, 1978 to John and Christy Buis, sharing a birthday with his Aunt and Niece. That’s what happens when you come from a huge, beautiful family. Not many people could brag about having over 100 cousins, but Johnny could and did! And the number of friends and people he loved, you couldn’t put a number on that!
With those big blue eyes, a huge heart like no other, and an electric smile that lit up a room, Johnny always put everyone first. If you were in his life, he was going to take care of you. If you needed help, he was the first to come running. He had a servant’s heart with a wicked sense of humor that made him so lovable. You always knew what was important to him by the tattoos on his body! Uncle Johnny could grill a mean steak, loved morel mushroom hunting with his parents, and had quite the green thumb! With his quick wit and hilarious presence, you just never knew if you were going to get a hug, a moon, or Superman’s cape!
He will be so very missed by his parents, John and Christy Buis; son (his greatest gift), Jayce Buis; Jayce’s mother, KT Shulman; sister, Tiffani (Bryan) Haley-Hanan; brother, Bo Buis; his nieces and nephew who loved their Uncle Johnny so much, Abby and Ty Haley, Avree and Sydney Buis; and the luckiest dog in the world to have been rescued by Johnny, Jackpot.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Sagamore Club, 10900 Golden Bear Way, Noblesville from 1:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Johnny was immensely proud of his son Jayce who served in the United States Air Force and is currently studying at Clemson University. In lieu of flowers, a Legacy Fund has been established with BMO Bank to support Jayce in memory of his father’s undying love and support. Memorial contributions may be made via Zelle@317-409-4565 OR Venmo @Tiffani-Hanan.
