Johnny Daniel Coffman, age 81, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025.
Johnny was born on June 27, 1944, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Johnny Coffman and Lizie Coffman. He grew up in Morris, where he and his brother Jerry "Pete" shared a strong bond that lasted throughout their lives. Together, they proudly joined the service, beginning a journey that shaped Johnny into the strong, dedicated, and honorable man he was known to be. Johnny deeply loved serving his country-he cherished the friendships he made, the opportunities to learn, and the travels he experienced during his years in the service.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lizie Coffman; his sisters Louise, Grace, Ella, and Edna; his beloved wife and the love of his life, Cleeta; and his granddaughter, Abbie.
He is survived by his daughter, Julia Miller; his brother Jerry "Pete"; his nephew and hunting buddy, David; his loyal friend Kurt;eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever remember his steady presence, kindness, and unwavering love.
Johnny and Cleeta made their home in Glenpool for many years, where Johnny was known for his generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need. He volunteered as Santa Claus for the hospice where Julia worked, as well as for the National Guard-roles he cherished and embraced with joy.
To Julia, he was the definition of consistency and support. He never missed her basketball games, cheering boldly even from the opposite side of the gym. Win or lose, he always took her for ice cream afterward. Johnny loved adventure, riding his last roller coaster at the age of 68 and taking yearly trips with Julia to Six Flags and Silver Dollar City He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and embracing every moment life offered. Above all, Johnny loved the Lord, and his faith remained a central and guiding part of his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Clarehouse Tulsa or to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know him. Services have been entrusted to Schaudt Funeral Service. Friends & family may leave condolences and kind words of comfort at www.schaudtfuneralservice.com
