Linda Carole Boyd-Bartley, a resident of Glenpool, Oklahoma (formerly of Tulsa), passed away on January 22, 2026, shortly after celebrating her 83rd birthday.
Linda was a retired hospice caretaker who devoted her life to caring for others. She had a deep love for animals-especially geese, goats, and horses-and found joy in writing poetry and painting. A lifelong learner, Linda had a true zeal for knowledge. She knew the Bible inside and out and greatly enjoyed reading and expanding her understanding of the world around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Freddie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her two husbands, Harold Dewey Boyd of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and David Bartley of Zena, Oklahoma; and her oldest daughter, Shelly Dawn Boyd of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Linda is survived by her youngest daughter, Brenda Boyd of Glenpool, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Shonna Rayshell Boyd of Beggs, Oklahoma, Shon Ray Boyd of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Shalisha Shea Boyd of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Hailey Jade Hicks of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Paisley Brené Tilton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her six great-grandchildren, Theo Ray Boyd, Raelynn Boyd, Tyler Ray Hamlett, Mason Wayne Hignite, Jasper Tilton, and Troy Michael Hicks, Jr., all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by several beloved cousins.
