Johnny Howder, 70, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away October 4, 2025. He was born on August 27, 1955, to John and Carmia (Williams) Howder. Johnny attended Lawrenceville High School and continued his education at college. He worked for Good Samaritan Hospital for 20 years. Johnny was an avid fan of fitness and enjoyed working out. He also enjoyed reading his Bible, playing cards, spending time with his pets, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals and IU Basketball. He will be deeply missed.
Johnny is preceded in death by his father John Howder; siblings Rita (Hoyt) Davis and Jeff Howder and great-niece Cameron White.
He is survived by his daughter and 2 grandchildren; mother Carmia Howder; siblings Cindy Castillo and Doug Howder; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Howder. Visitation will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at 524 Broadway Street from 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service will begin promptly at 1 pm and conclude at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Goodwin Sievers to aid in funeral expenses or to The Salvation Army in Johnny's memory.
