Johnny C. Marshall, 72, of Roy, Utah, passed away Friday November 12, 2021 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.
Johnny was born December 20, 1948 in Tremonton, Utah, to Maxine Udy Marshall and Chestley Marlin Marshall. On June 8, 1974, Johnny married Karlene Grover in Tremonton, Utah and they were later sealed as a family on November 20, 1991 in the Ogden Temple.
Johnny graduated from Bear River High School in 1967. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany and Vietnam. After he returned from service he worked at the Hill Air Force Base as a warehouse manager or "AKA babysitter" and DDO Warehousing. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held the office of High Priest in the priesthood at Cedar Crest Ward. He loved watching his football team the Minnesota Vikings, playing and watching soccer, and basketball and watching Star Trek, he loved riding around on his BMW with friends and family and was also a member of the BMW "The Beamers Club".
Johnny is survived by his wife, Karlene, three daughters, Jennifer Marshall (Brandon) Hart, Jamie Susan Marshall, and Tracey Robyn Marshall; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Brent Marshall, Paul Marshall and one sister, Michelle Woodyatt. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Chestley, mother, Maxine, and two siblings, Leon Marshall, Twylla Price, and grandchild, Jacob.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Cedar Crest Ward Chapel, 3845 South 2000 West, Roy. The family will meet with friends Wednesday, November 17th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, West Haven Cemetery, where Military Honors will be accorded.
