Johnny McLeod Obituary
Holly Ridge, NC: Mr. Johnny Ray McLeod, age 65, passed away on Sunday, November 21,2021 at his residence. Funeral Services will be 4:00PM-Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC.
Mr. McLeod was born on December 12, 1955 in Harnett County to the late Elvin Cornelius “Bill” and Mary Elizabeth Coats McLeod. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Gail Jackson McLeod and his daughter, Dottie Jean McLeod. Mr. McLeod was the owner and operator of Captain John’s Campground in Holly Ridge, NC. He loved the ocean, fishing, his dogs, and his farm animals, and most of all his family. His family will always remember him for his big heart and his willingness to help those in need.
Surviving include his sweetheart, Beverly Giddings, son, Donny McLeod and wife Angela, daughter, Pamela McLeod, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandson; step-daughter, Sally Thompson; sister, Shelia Jean Meadows, brothers, Paul McLeod, Jerry McLeod, and Bobby McLeod; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the funeral service on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Rose& Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
