Johnny Pennington Obituary
Johnny Vernon Pennington, 60, of Scarbro passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side.
Born August 15, 1964 in Virginia he was the son of the late Howard and Sylvina Wriston Pennington.
Johnny was good with his hands working as a carpenter and building houses. He loved being outside in the woods and was an all around outdoorsman.
Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his brother, Wilber Pennington.
Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his companion of 25 years DeeDee Johnson; sister, Rachael Pennington; and brothers, Jackie Pennington, Eddie Pennington, Franky Pennington, Bengie Pennington, and Wesley Pennington.
Graveside rites with burial to follow will be 1:15 PM on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Pax Community Cemetery in Pax. Those wish to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery in Pax.
