Ronald Keith Hatfield, 55, of Thomasville, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Pine Lodge Nursing Home in Beckley.
Born October 6, 1970 in Holden, WV he was the son of Ronnie and Linda Hatfield
Ronald was a proud 1989 graduate from Tug Valley High School where he played the trumpet and was on the football and baseball team. After high school he went to WVU Tech where graduated in pre law and went on to graduate Law School from West Virginia University. In his leisure he enjoyed watching sports especially WVU as he was a sports fanatic. He loved to sing and playing music on the guitar and piano as he could hear a note and play it. Ronald loved to hunt and fish and most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews as he always said they were like his children.
Along with his mother, Lena Faye Hall Hatfield he is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger and Irene Hatfield, Randall and Juanita Hall, and Kenneth and Jean Shumaker.
Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving parents, Ronnie Hatfield (Linda) of Thomasville, NC; 4 siblings, Michelle Rice (Larry) of Oak Hill, Taresa Hatfield Sparks of High Point, NC., Michael Turley (Jennifer) of Suffolk, VA., and Ronda Whitney (Chad) of Lawrenceville, Ga., 11 nieces and nephews; 5 great nieces and nephews; and was loved by many aunts and uncles.
In keeping with his wishes Mr. Ronald Hatfield will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
