Johnny Roadcap Obituary

Johnny E. Roadcap of Waynesboro, VA passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. Born to Clarence and Margaret Roadcap on July 4, 1944, Johnny had three brothers - Jimmie (deceased), Billy, and Roger; and four sisters - Kitty (deceased), Shirley, Patsy (deceased), and Peggy (deceased). Johnny was also the father to Gina Sweeney (deceased) and Eddie.

As a skilled carpenter who helped build many homes in the area, Johnny was known for his quality workmanship.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie, and her children, his surviving siblings, his son, and many other family members.

His wishes were to be cremated without any formal services.

Johnny & Roger built my house. And God sent me the best. They were not only skilled carpenters but craftsmen. My home is now 48 years old & solid as a rock. They did extra things and were so enjoyable to be around. We are so thankful for all their help. May God Bless all the Roadcap Family
