Johnny must have been a super guy since he raised some pretty special boys. They are still some of my favorite former students.
My sincere condolences,

Johnny and I were long time friends, and were fortunate enough to be flying for the same company toward the end of his life. He was always a fun guy to have around, insatiably curious about everything. He always knew what was going on about the airport, and he probably knew more about your airplane than you did. My most vivid memory is of Johnny (after an airplane accident, NOT his fault) standing by the airplane door, with the most silly, "I survived!" look on his face. He (and me) were very happy people that day.
He was a truly nice person and always great to be around. To say I'll miss his would be a gross understatement.
