Jolene Harshbarger Obituary
Bethalto:
Jolene Harshbarger, 57, passed away at 4:04am on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at her residence. She was born on February 27, 1968, in Alton, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Linda (Meadows) Haynes. She married Ricky Harshbarger on March 19, 1994, in Roxana, and he survives. Other survivors include a son: Dalton Harshbarger of Bethalto, a brother and sister in law: Michael and Michelle Haynes of Bethalto, a sister in law: Tanya Haynes of Cottage Hills, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Jolene was employed at East Alton Elementary as a cook. She loved playing darts, sitting outside at her house listening to KSHE 95, and talking on the phone with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Kathy Tuetken and brother: Justin Haynes.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Pitchford Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Roxana Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Darts 4 Kids and will be accepted at the funeral home.
