Jolene "Jodi" Marie "Jodi" Basinger

Jodi Marie Basinger, at the beautiful age of 71, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, August 4th 2025. She was born in Jamesville, Wisconsin, on September 28th, 1953, to her beloved parents, M.C. and Carolyn Goldbeck. She lived in Oklahoma throughout her childhood and teenage years then returned upon retirement.

After high school, Jodi attended community college and earned an associate's degree to become an x-ray technician. After college she moved to Okemah and started a career at the hospital where she met the love of her life, Gary. They moved to Tulsa a few years later and started new careers and a family.

She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She enjoyed sports, camping, outdoors, loved the water, spending time with family, crafting, school and church activities, and eventually becoming the greatest Nana of all.

Jodi is preceded in death by her father and grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn; husband of almost 50 years, Gary; children Kellie Larson and Christopher Basinger, as well as her three grandchildren Drake, Zoie and Piper-Lucy; sister Karla West; brothers Michael and Chris Goldbeck; and many nieces and nephews, loved ones and friends.

A memorial service is being held on Friday August 8th, at 11 AM at Mustang Christian Church in Mustang, Oklahoma.
