Sherry Jean Anderson was born October 23, 1945 in Oklahoma City to Jack and Margie (Brown) Anderson. Sherry entered the life eternal while in her home in the presence of family on August 25, 2025.

Sherry continued to live and grow in Oklahoma City where she graduated from Grant High School in 1964. After graduation from Central State University with a degree in Education. Sherry taught high school English at Southeast and John Marshall High Schools. Following her time as a teacher Sherry entered professional administration serving in the human relation department for corporations in Oklahoma City before completing her career with COX Communications.

Those who knew Sherry best will remember her fondness for books, Star Wars, Dr. Pepper, and her deep love and devotion to her mother and family.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brothers Terry (Debbie) and Kevin (Stephanie) Anderson; her nieces and nephews she called her "babies" Christopher (Annabelle) Anderson, Michelle (Bryan) Terry, Kyle (Heather) Anderson, Katherine (Kyle) McCoy, and Cody (Danielle) Anderson; and eleven great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 @ 11AM - McNeil's Funeral Service in Mustang, OK.

Graveside is following the service at the Mustang Cemetery(325 S. Mustang Road, Mustang, OK 73064).
