On January 10, 2025 in St. George, UT, JoLynn Easton-Luthi's earthly tasks were done, she was called home by the Creator at age(level) 69. She was born in Des Plaines, IL on November 8th to Ethel M. Easton-Luthi and Glen Luthi; raised by her aunt, Claudia Easton-Tuckey, and her uncle, Harold E. Tuckey (Uncle Tuck), in Milford, UT. Although she forewent her high school education in her youth to pursue work to take care of her family, she later graduated from Washington High School in Ogden, UT. She then went on to receive her Bachelors of Animal Husbandry, from Southern Utah University, which she used to work as a Data Technician. She was known as Free Spirited and a "Firecracker" in her youth as well as a treasured friend to those closest to her. She loved all animals; her dogs were like her children and were equally spoiled. She was a talented Billiard Pool player, known for her 8 ball breaks as well as being a "Pool Shark."
She was preceded in death by her mother Ethel M. Easton-Luthi, father Glen Luthi, her aunt Claudia Easton-Tuckey, Uncle Harold E. Tuckey, her brother William "Billy" Parale, and stepsons Michael R. Martinez and Benjamin E. Martinez. She was survived by her daughter Marlena Martinez, former partners Irene M. Gonzales and Alana Mercier whom helped her raised her daughter, her sisters Claudia Love and Kathy Luthi Mason, brother Robert "Bob" Parale, her sister in law Julie Parale, her dogs Red and Trouble, two grandchildren Daniel Tomer and Maria "Maui" Bear-Dragon, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
