Jon Hobbs Boulware, 84, of Altoona, Florida, passed away on September 10, 2024. Born in Leesburg, Florida, Jon was a proud lifelong resident of Lake County, having graduated from Tavares High School in 1958. Jon dedicated many years to his career as a drug store manager and proudly served in the United States Navy. He found immense joy in serving his community, notably as the choir director at both the First United Methodist Church and the Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Tavares, which was dear to his heart. In addition to his commitment to service, Jon cherished quality time spent at the beach and enjoyed fishing. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Deborah Boulware of Altoona, FL; their son, Parrish M. Boulware of Flagler Beach, FL; and their daughter, Allison B. (C. Shane) Cook of Ormond Beach, FL. A private graveside service will be conducted at Tavares Cemetery in Tavares, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Union Congregational Church in Tavares, Florida. Jon's life was characterized by his love for family and community, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Arrangements are entrusted to Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis, Florida
