Jon Durigg Obituary
Dain was born in Jewett, OH on August 6, 1939 to Chester & Faye Durigg and graduated from Harvey High School in Painesville. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in industrial technology from Kent State University. He taught Shop for Brunswick Public Schools and later worked as a plastics engineer for various companies. After retirement, up until 6 months ago, Dain worked for Home Depot in the electrical and plumbing departments. Dain enjoyed tinkering with cars, woodworking, general home improvement, and he liked to do machine work for fun.
In addition to his parents, Dain was preceded in death by his son-in-law Matthew Hagen and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan; his daughter Amanda Hagen; son Jon Devon Durigg; grandchildren James & Gwenevere Hagen; brother Ed (Doreen) Durigg.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, August 25, 7 pm, with the family receiving friends from 5-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home - Green Chapel 4178 Massillon Rd. in Green (entrance off of Steese Rd.). Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville, OH.
