KENNETH JAMES KAMINSKI, age 85, passed away peacefully at home on February 22, 2026.
Ken was born to Stanley and Betty Kaminski in Cleveland, Ohio. He shared sixty-four years of devoted marriage with his wife, Joyce (née Anderson). He was a loving father to Connie Krueger (Martin Krueger—deceased), Tom Kaminski (Laura), and Sherry Jaqua (Andrew). He was grandfather to Christopher, Kendall, Nicholas, and Sophia, and great grandfather to Hallie; and took great pride in watching his family grow.
Ken was a caring brother to Patricia Price (deceased), Lawrence Kaminski, and Michael Kaminski (deceased) and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Ken graduated from Cathedral Latin High School to Kent State University for a B.S. in Physics, and later to the University of Dayton for an M.S. in Chemical Engineering. He had a successful career as an environmental engineer with BF Goodrich before pursuing an entrepreneurial path in Pensacola, Florida.
Ken was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and touched countless lives with his generosity, kindness, and willingness to help others. He cherished long road trips to visit friends and family across the country, always making time for the people he loved. A lifelong learner, he embraced new projects and hobbies with curiosity and enthusiasm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made to St. Joseph Catholic School, 32946 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, OH 44012 or Hospice of the Western Reserve, www.reserve-care.org.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 32929 Lake Rd., Avon Lake, Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Family and friends received in church, Thursday from 9:30-11 a.m.
