Beverly J. Kaminski, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Born May 9, 1938, in
South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Roy and Georgia (Swisher) Baker.
Beverly retired from Honeywell-formerly Allied Signal/Bendix-after forty dedicated years of service. A proud alumna of South Bend Central High School, she remained deeply involved with the alumni association and reunion planning. She was also an active and faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Mishawaka.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Claude "Peanuts" Kaminski; their daughter, Dawn; her two sisters, Mary Donna Baker (Kitchen) and Georgia M. Baker (Coughenour); and her brothers, James H. Baker and George Lee Baker.
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Liddle; her son in law, William Liddle; and her two beloved grandchildren, Paige Liddle and David Liddle.
Beverly loved without limits. She cared deeply, supported wholeheartedly, and gave generously-as a sister, aunt, great aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend. To her nieces and nephews, she was a constant source of encouragement, humor, and unwavering love. As a sister, she stayed closely tied to her siblings, always holding onto the memories they built together. She loved telling old stories, recalling the laughter, the challenges, and showing up for them in every season of life. She admired and cherished each of them in her own way.
She treasured her visits to family in the Rochelle and Rockford areas of Illinois-places that shaped her childhood and remained dear to her throughout her life.
Known for her talent and passion for sewing, Beverly found joy in creating meaningful, handmade pieces for those she loved. She was also a devoted supporter of all things Notre Dame, especially the women's basketball team, cheering with fervent pride.
As a grandmother, she poured her whole heart into spoiling her grandchildren. Her love was steady and unwavering; she was our compass, and her comforting presence was our anchor.
Beverly loved to travel and was always eager to visit and support her family wherever Navy life took them. She embraced the Navy family as her own, joining in every adventure with joy, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
As a selfless single mother, Beverly was a true force of nature-resourceful, determined, and endlessly devoted. She balanced work and family with grace, always going above and beyond to support those she loved.
Her laughter filled our homes, and her spirit lingers in every memory she left behind. Her light remains with us-in our thoughts, in our dreams, and forever in our hearts.
Visitation for Beverly will be held 10:00am-11:30am, with a funeral service beginning at 11:30am, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd.,
