Michael Scott Goudy

Green - Michael 'Mike' Goudy, 70, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026.

Preceded in death by his by mother Jessie Torson, father Frank Goudy, stepfather Ray Torson, sister Linda Goudy, brother James Eaglewolf, and granddaughter Summer Goudy.

He is survived by the love of his life, wife of 51 years, Christine, sons Michael (Karla), Ronald (Karissa), sisters Thelma Goudy and Connie Donatelli, grandchildren Jacob (Alysia) Goudy, Joshua Goudy, Caden McCoy, Jordan McCoy, Novella Goudy, and Bristyl Goudy, great grandchildren Connor, Caleb, and Cole Goudy.

Mike was a proud graduate of East High School class of 1973. He worked in the tire mold industry for 45 years before retiring in 2017.

To know him, you know his favorite topic of conversation was his family. His wife was his everything. He was quick to tell a friend or a total stranger how proud he was of his children and grandchildren. Mike planned many vacations and was often the main character of the comedic vacation memories.

He enjoyed the many rounds of golf with family and friends, especially playing as partners with his sons and grandson Jacob. Mike also enjoyed the many years of softball and bowling.

He lived his life to the fullest, he loved his family and friends immensely, life will not be the same without him.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green 4178 Massillon Rd. (entrance off Steese). A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.
