Jon D. Luzny

1941 - 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce that Jon David Luzny peacefully concluded his earthly journey on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the age of 83. He will be deeply missed for his integrity, quiet faith, and a loving sense of humor that brought laughter to all, even his nurses in his final days.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Chester and Mary Ellen Luzny, Jon was a proud alumnus of Hiram College and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He honorably served his country as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps during the Vietnam War.

Upon his return, he founded Cedar Creek Family Dental Care, where for 40 years he didn't just fix teeth; he crafted smiles and built lasting relationships with generations of families.

When not in the office, Jon was most at home on the water. An avid boater, he spent decades exploring the Great Lakes with his family. He was our steady and wise captain, navigating every journey with a calm and capable hand, creating a safe harbor of memories his family will treasure forever.

The guiding star of his life was his beloved wife, Diane. Together, they moved from Toledo, Ohio to permanently dropped anchor in Punta Gorda. He will forever remain the keeper of Diane's heart, navigating their love into eternity.

His legacy proudly continues through his children, Michael and Michelle, and his four cherished grandchildren.

In keeping with Jon's wishes, his life will be honored privately by his family.
