Jon McCollum Obituary
Bobby grew up in Newnan, Ga. He joined the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, he graduated from the Georgia Police Academy. He was a man of vast accomplishments. Bobby was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include wife, Jennifer O. Hendricks McCollum; children Julie Elizabeth (Chris) Bruce, Chasity L. (Cory) Brockway, Christopher J. Knott, Jon R. (Lori) McCollum, Jr., and Amanda F. McCollum; Grandchildren Jacob Shelton, Brittany (Kody) Olah, Morgan Bruce (Cole Shiflett), and Courtney P. McCollum. Also, 3 great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan. The family will receive friends following the service.
