Jon Mortellaro Obituary
Beloved husband of Anne Mortellaro for a wonderful 43 years. Loving father of the late Jeffrey Mortellaro. Dear brother of Larry (Sharri) Mortellaro. Cherished brother-in-law of Margery (Jim) Breit. Fond uncle of Kristina (Yan) Shkap, Anthony (Joanna) Mortellaro, Matthew Breit, and Elizabeth Breit. Great-uncle of Ben and Noah Shkap. Jon is now reunited with his beloved feline buddy, Shorty.
Jon worked for many years in the food industry. Upon retiring, he worked with special needs children through the school district. It is well known Jon had a love of pizza and ice cream. He enjoyed travelling to Sanibel Island, FL.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date by family. Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Countryside at 708-352-6500.
