Mary Mortellaro Obituary

Mortellaro, Mary Loraine

84, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on March 5, 2025, with family by her side. She was born on April 30, 1940, in Tampa, FL (Ybor City), to Charles Otis Gonzales and Gladys Louise Thompson. Loraine graduated from Plant High School and married Salvatore "Sam" Mortellaro on July 28, 1956. They were married 48 years until his passing. Loraine was a successful entrepreneur, holding both a realtor's license and an insurance broker's license. She operated her own insurance brokerage firm for many years before retiring. Loraine was preceded in death by her beloved son, Larry, in 2020. She leaves behind a loving family, including two children, six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom will deeply miss her. A full obituary is available on the Boza & Roel website.
