Jon Darrell Oien

Jon Oien, 49, of Clearbrook, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly from a car accident on Tuesday, May 31, 2023, in Ashland, Wisconsin.
A Time of Remembrance will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley, Minnesota.
Jon Darrell Oien was born on September 9, 1973, to Norval and Marlene (Nordlund) in Bagley, Minnesota. Jon attended school in Bagley and graduated in 1992. After graduation, Jon started working for Underground Construction Companies. He was currently working for Straight Shot Drilling. It has been said that no one can make a bore shot like Jon. Jon had a light-hearted, funny personality and always made people laugh. Jon worked hard and played hard. He was very giving to his family and friends. If you needed help with anything it didn't matter what, when, or where- Jon would be there to help. He means so much to his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Gone much too soon but the memories will live on.
He leaves behind his brother Nathan Oien.

Nephews-Jordan (Hanna), Brandon, Holden Oien and Jeremy (Courtney) Groshong.
Niece-Ashley (Jake) Boomgaarden.
Great Nephews-Lance and Eli and Great Nieces-Ella, Holly, and Quinn.
He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, his grandparents, and his best buddy-
