Jon David Silkman, 31, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at his home in Hooksett, NH. He was born on August 12, 1991, in Manchester, NH, the son of John R. and Emily D. (Groulx) Silkman. He was the husband of Annmarie (Rowe) Silkman of Biddeford, ME.
Jon attended West High School in Manchester and was a member of the ROTC program. He embarked on a fulfilling career with Pelcon General Contractors Inc. in Bow, NH, where he found joy and satisfaction in his work.
Jon's zest for life was evident in everything he did. He had a genuine love for his children, family, and friends, and his priority was always their happiness and well-being. Known for his kind and generous nature, Jon had a remarkable ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him.
One of Jon's greatest passions was the thrill of visiting theme parks and riding roller coasters. He found immense joy in the exhilarating experiences they offered. Music, camping trips, movie nights, and watching Key and Peele videos were among the many activities that brought him happiness.
In addition to his parents and wife, Jon is survived by his two young children, Jonathan and Julianna Silkman of Hooksett, NH, who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his brother and sister, Jacob and Juliah Silkman and his grandmother, Claire Silkman all of Hooksett, NH. Jon came from a large family, leaving behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended relatives who will fondly remember him.
During this difficult time, let us remember Jon as a caring and compassionate individual, always willing to lend a helping hand and spread joy to those he encountered. His presence in our lives will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
SERVICES: A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, from 4:00PM – 5:00PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 5:00PM. Family and friends are invited to attend.
