He is survived by his wife of 22 years Shelly; his sons Hunter and Hudson; his mother Hazel Windemuller; his siblings: Judy and Brian Bristow, Jerry and Christy Windemuller, and Jason "Bucket" and Mindi Windemuller; his parents-in-law Tom and Elaine Lucas; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Brad and Danee Lucas, and Jennifer and Jeremy Van Nuil; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jon was preceded in death by his father Stanley Windemuller in 2021.
Jon graduated from Holland Christian High School in 1992 and two weeks later he went to Marine Corps Boot Camp in San Diego, CA. He was a self-employed building contractor for several years and had been employed at Coral Gables Yachts for the last 13 years. Jon was a longtime member of Graafschap Christian Reformed Church.
Jon enjoyed working on Jeeps, rock crawling and boating with his family and friends.
Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-8 Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Graafschap Christian Reformed Church, 5793 Church Street, Holland. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, December 27, 2023, also at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Graafschap Christian Reformed Church Legacy Youth Expansion or Semper Fi & America's Fund. www.langelandsterenberg.com
