John Windemuller Obituary
John was born on February 18, 1958, in Zeeland, to Bernard and Jeanette (Knoll) Windemuller. He graduated from Covenant Christian High School and married Mary Vander Meulen on June 22, 1979. John has worked for Excel Electric since 1985. John raised Boxer and Akita dogs for many years. John and Mary also run Country Winds Farms and Creamery on their Beaverdam farm. John and Mary are members of Georgetown Protestant Reformed Church. He was preceded in death by his brother Glenn, in-laws: Gerald Koop, Bern Ten Broeke, Kathy Windemuller, and Mary Windemuller.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary, their children and grandchildren: Rachel and Rob Velte (Jonas, River, Elijah, Boaz), Amanda and Bill Booth (Makayla, Hailey, Bill); siblings: Elaine Koop, Bob Windemuller, Paul Windemuller, Marcia Ten Broeke, Susan and Randy Boeve, Judy Windemuller, Wendell "Alan" & Sharon Vander Meulen, Richard & Michelle Vander Meulen, and many extended family members.
A funeral service for John Windemuller will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Georgetown Protestant Reformed Church, 7146 48th Ave., Hudsonville MI 49426. Visiting hours will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Wednesday, at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland. Interment will be in Beaverdam Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Christian School.
