Jonathan Robert Bicker, 47, of
Winnsboro, Louisiana, passed away on May 15, 2025. A beloved
husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Jonathan leaves behind a legacy of gratitude,
thoughtfulness, and unwavering love for his family.
Born on September 24, 1977, in Monroe, Louisiana, Jonathan was the cherished son of Nancy
Anne Zdan Bicker of Winnsboro and the late Robert Joseph Bicker. He was raised in a loving
home and was a proud Eagle Scout. He graduated from Ouachita High School and went on to
attend Northeast Louisiana University. Jonathan was extremely talented with all things
technology, however, his contributions at work went far beyond his technological talents.
Jonathan's advanced expertise and experience took him all over the world through his former
employers JPMorgan Chase, CenturyTel, Standard Chartered Bank, and Iron Mountain
Incorporated. He was employed with Citizens Bank in Providence, Rhode Island, as the Contact
Center Business Solutions Director, Senior Vice President. He was known for his intelligence,
diligence, and passion for his work. Jonathan was recently recognized for his outstanding work
and given a prestigious innovation award. While countless people-both professionally and
personally-relied on him for guidance, he never hesitated to share his knowledge or lend a
hand, regardless of the personal sacrifice.
Jonathan was deeply devoted to his wife of 20 years, Nancy Myers Bicker, with whom he
shared a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. He adored and cared for her wholeheartedly,
and their bond was evident to all who knew them. Jonathan's love for Nancy, his mother, and
his family was unlimited. Jonathan also had a unique and beautiful way of making everyone feel
valued, especially his nieces and nephews, whom he treated as his own.
A devoted fan of the Houston Astros and everything LSU Tigers, Jonathan loved sports, but his
passions extended far beyond the field. Jonathan enjoyed cooking and entertaining for friends
and family. No one wanted to miss a meal when Jonathan was cooking. He loved bringing
people together over good food and heartfelt conversation. Jonathan was also deeply interested
in politics, history, documentaries, technology, and mathematics. Anyone who knew Jonathan
knew he had an endless and special love for animals-especially his beloved dogs, Bruno,
Ginger, and Ruby.
Jonathan was known for his warmth and generosity. His thoughtful nature and steady presence
brought comfort and happiness to everyone around him. He was baptized and confirmed at First
Methodist Church in Monroe, Louisiana, and later attended First Methodist Church in
Winnsboro. Jonathan took great pride in caring for his family and friends, always putting the
needs of others before his own. He had a servant's heart and a deep love for those in his life.
To Jonathan, friends were family, and if you were his friend, you knew a love that was genuine,
unwavering, and rare.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Myers Bicker of
Winnsboro, Louisiana; his mother,
Nancy Anne Zdan Bicker of
Winnsboro, Louisiana; his brother, Michael Ross Bicker of Monroe,
Louisiana; his uncles, Mike Zdan of The Villages, Florida, and Phillip Grow of Holland, Michigan;
his father and mother-in-law, Walter and Jackie Myers of Sicily Island, Louisiana; his sister-in-
law, Tish Taylor and her husband Adam of Winnsboro; his brother-in-law, Matt Myers and his
wife Leanne of Winnsboro; and cherished nieces and nephews Jacob Myers, Will Budemer,
Anna Myers, and Dani Myers. He also leaves behind many extended family members and
friends who will miss him dearly.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bicker; maternal grandparents, Michael
Zdan, Sr. and Catherine Zdan Grow; and paternal grandparents, Ross E. and Nell Bicker.
Pallbearers are Matt Myers, Jacob Myers, Adam Taylor, Will Budemer, Chad Grubbs, Brooks
McCall, Carlo Sciara III, Carlo Sciara IV, Nicholas Sciara, Will Edwards, Rodney Newsom, and
Thomas Nelson.
Honorary pallbearers are Paul Cunningham, John Nelson, Carlo Sciara Jr. and Walter Myers Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at 6:00 PM at Dennard's Funeral Home in
Winnsboro, Louisiana. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 21 at First
Methodist Church of
Winnsboro, Louisiana at 11:00 AM. Streaming of the service will be

Jonathan's life was a reflection of grace, humor, and humility. Though his passing leaves a deep
void, his love, legacy, and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and
loved him.
