Jonathan Jay Brannan, 38, of Martinsville, Indiana, passed away January 20, 2024. He was born April 25, 1985 in Indianapolis, IN to Jay Joseph Brannan and Jennifer (Wood) Brannan. Jonathan will be remembered as a loving son and father, who found joy in his work and the time he had with his three children. He loved fishing, off roading, camping trips, and being outdoors with his family. He was an adept craftsman in the art of repairs and there was rarely a problem that he couldn’t solve. His greatest joy in life, however, was the time he spent with his family, who will all miss him very much.
Jonathan is survived by his children, Wyatt, Charlotte, and Elliott Brannan; mother, Jennifer Brannan; brother, Andrew Brannan; sister, Megan Brannan and grandmother, Ellen Brannan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Joseph Brannan; and his grandmother, Patricia Wood.
Mass of Christian burial for Jonathan will be held, Friday, January 26th, 2024, at 1:00pm at St. Simon Catholic Church, 8155 Oaklandon Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46236. Family and friends may gather from 11:00am until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jonathan’s memory to the family, to go towards his children. https://gofund.me/207757d0
