Jonathan L. Byrd, 34, of Parsons, passed away the morning of Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his home.
Jonathan Leroy Byrd was born on January 14, 1992, in Parsons. He grew up and attended school in Parsons, graduating from Labette County High School and earning an associate’s degree from Labette Community College.
He worked as a caregiver for SKIL for several years.
Besides spending time with his sons, he enjoyed drawing - especially designing tattoos, playing the drums, and collecting Pokémon cards.
Survivors include:
Three sons – Julius Caldwell, Kielen Caldwell, and Jordan Caldwell
His parents – Tammie and Robert Kendrick of Parsons, Kansas
One brother – Chad Byrd of Parsons, Kansas
One sister – Ashley Edwards and her husband, Dequan, of Parsons, Kansas
Three nephews – Bentley Hanna, Ayden Whitley, and Xavier Phillips
One niece – Z’anna Phillips
Services will be announced by the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home.
