Braxton Irish, 19, of St. Paul, passed away the afternoon of Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his home.
Braxton Blake Irish was born on May 23, 2006, to Brandi Clark and Casey Irish in Pittsburg, Kansas. He grew up and attended school in St. Paul, graduating from St. Paul High School in 2025.
Being a volunteer firefighter was among Braxton’s proudest roles. He loved the department’s brotherhood, but most of all, the chance to help someone on their worst day. Serving his community wasn’t something he just did, it was part of who he was. He is survived by his fire department family, who stood beside him in service and friendship.

His father and step-mother – Casey and Kourtney Irish of St. Paul, Kansas
Six siblings – Takoda Leach of Arma, Kansas; Thomas Clark, Kaiya Irish, and Audrey Irish of St. Paul, Kansas; Shaina and Josh Mullin of Carl Junction, Missouri; and Joey Rose of Chanute, Kansas
Grandparents – Nancy Davis of St. Paul, Kansas; Jeff and Julie Ashworth of Girard, Kansas; Tricia and Jeff Wilkins of Greenfield, Missouri; Marlene Clark of St. Paul, Kansas; and Don Kennedy of St. Paul, Kansas
Aunts and uncles – Jeri Giefer of Parsons, Kansas; Darren and Leanna Doherty of Farlington, Kansas; Jeff Wood of St. Paul, Kansas; Deborah Beachner of Pittsburg, Kansas; Dustin and Jenn Johnson of Pittsburg, Kansas; Jenny and Cliff Sinclair of Frontenac, Kansas; Amelia and Zach Harris of Lamar, Missouri; and Noah and Teri Wilkins of Stockton, Missouri

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gail Ashworth; and his grandfathers, Don Wood and Gary Davis.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at St. Patrick Church in Walnut. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in St Paul. Friends may stop by and sign the register book at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Braxton Irish Scholarship Fund to help other students who share Braxton’s dream of going into fire science. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
