Jonathan Cook Obituary
He was born in Erie on April 16,1935 to Jonathan and Mildred (Roehm) Cook.
Jon graduated from Cathedral Prep High School and joined the US Navy in 1954. He served on the USS Putnam as a radioman second class and was honorably discharged in 1958. Jon married Joan Strike on August 29,1959 and had five children, Kevin (Mary) of Indiana, Brian (Robin) of Erie, Keith (Cindy) of Erie, and Mary (John) of Pleasant Hill California. Jonathan's working career was primarily in the print industry at Ashby's and Dispatch. He is survived by sons Kevin, Brian, and Keith as well as his daughter Mary and Brother Robert. He is
predeceased by Joan (wife), Jonathan (father), Mildred (mother), and Kenneth (son). Jonathan has 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
He will be remembered most for telling sea stories from his time in the navy and his love of gardening and photography. You will never be forgotten.

Jon was a wonderful, caring, man
I loved listening to his stories, with his great sense of humor, always made me laugh . I will hold onto these memories forever, I miss you!!! Christine
