Thomas G. Rogers

Thomas Grant Rogers, 80, of Erie passed away peacefully at home from dementia on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was born in El Paso, TX on July 9, 1945, a son of the late Albert Grant and Eleanor May McGonnel Rogers.

He graduated from Spartanburg High School, Class of 1964.

Tom and his wife owned and operated Rogers Tv (Curtis Mathes) and Rogers Affordable Maytag together. After retiring from business, Tom was a bus driver for Wattsburg School District and Venango Twp Supervisor.

Retirement also permitted Tom and Sally to travel North America and other countries when building their dream home.

Tom loved nature and was constantly camping, hunting, and fishing with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sally McCombs Rogers; his daughters, Terri Rogers of Wattsburg and Renee (Sean) Boone of Timberlake, NC; and his son, Grant (Katie) Rogers of Pittsburgh. He was blessed with six grandchildren, Bobbi, Danielle, Abby, Dalton, Micheal, and Sarah and four great-grandchildren, Brock, Bridget, Trysten, and Lara.

Friends and family may attend a Celebration of Life on March 28th at 1 pm at Brevillier Village Chapel, 5416 E. Lake Rd., Erie, Pa 16511. Burial will be private in Sunnyside Cemetery in Centerville, Pa.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, Pa 16504.
