Jonathan Matthew Ferebee, 44, of Newnan, GA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 21st, 2025. He was born on February 2nd, 1981, in Newnan, GA, to Janice Breed Hogan and Bill Ferebee. Jon always lived life in the fast lane. He spent his teenage years Kart racing and traveling over multiple states to compete, making lifelong friends along the way. He was known to be a gym rat and would often reward himself afterwards with chips, salsa, and margaritas. He was a motorsports & automotive enthusiast, which led to his degree in Automotive Technology. He enjoyed troubleshooting and applying his engineering skills to make his life easier and was always eager and willing to assist his colleagues and friends. In Jon's professional career, he served as a Master Diagnostic Technician and Shop Foreman for several years at Toyota of Newnan before joining Kia Motors Manufacturing, where his most recent role was Senior Dynamic Engineer in Quality Control. Spending time with family & friends was important to Jon, especially the time spent with his son at the baseball fields. He was the life of the party and loved to make people laugh. If you weren't happy when you arrived, you were when you left, with unforgettable memories. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, husband, father & friend that will never be forgotten and will always be loved. We will forever cherish the moments we shared with him. May God bless his soul. Jon is survived by his wife, Laura Ferebee; son, Colton Ferebee; Step-daughters: Katelyn and Alea Lindall; Father, Bill Ferebee; Step-mother, Nan Ferebee; Mother, Janice Hogan; Step-father, Bobby Hogan; sister, Jennifer Morris and her husband, Keith; Brother, Jeff Ferebee and his wife, Mignon.
