Jonathan Gordon Obituary

He was a proud graduate of Calloway County High School, class of 2005. His involvement on the high school speech team was a testament to his engaging presence and sharp intellect. Jonathan furthered his education at West Kentucky Community and Technical College, earning a certificate in Welding. His passion for music, love of sports, and enjoyment of time spent at the lake, were central to his life. Jonathan was known for his charming personality, quick wit, and the joy he took in spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Jonathan is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Debbie Gordon; his devoted sisters, Erin Edwards (Blake) of Murray and Jayme Jones (Chris) of Paducah; and his treasured nieces and nephews: Jaelyn, Addison, Tenley, Harper, Chandler, and Kipton.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Grady and Nell Gordon and James E. and Jean Garrett.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church- 2674 Magness Road, Benton, KY 42025. Services to follow with Bro. Randy Lowe officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
