Jonathan “Jonboy” Harris of Vero Beach, Florida passed away in Rockport, Texas on 12/04/2025 at the age of 53 years old. Jonboy had a love for motorcycles, mechanic work, and living life on his own terms, on his own time. A song to describe Jonboy would be “Free Bird” by Lynard Skynard. He truly was a free spirit, who was loved by many who he met. Jonboy was a loyal friend, and a gentle soul who will be missed dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Harris, and his brother, Butch “Fat Boy.” He was survived by his child, Rebecca Harris-Cooper, god child, Icarus Jackson, and five grandchildren, Braxton, Evelyn, Braiden, Silas, and Harrison, devoted caregivers, Caren Crocker-Broadstock, Mike Ogborn, and Ian Whitman.Jonboy will be cremated in his beloved robe, and a celebration of his life will be planned at a later date.
